Flux and Floe
New works are born in a time of chaos. We never thought a pandemic would reach our shores. These works provide a meditative daily process to calm the mind and to keep perspective. This Flux and Floe series reacts to the happenings around me. It is about being in the moment and letting the materials lead the way.
These paintings are made with alcohol inks on yupo paper. Some pieces have added photocollage elements as well as painting.
Made in a tiny home studio in a time of quarantine these pieces bring hope and escape in a world turned upside down.
