Fine Art Print - Refuge and resilience

from CA$95.00

Archival Giclee Print on watercolour paper

Shelter from the Storm Series-

“Refuge and resilience”

About the collection:

My work speaks to ideas of home – where we feel at home, how the landscape around us creates a home, the body as home, the spirit as home, childhood memories of home and displacement from home. On a larger scale these works relate to the climate crisis and the realization that the earth is home and the emotions that surround witnessing it’s deterioration.

The layered photographic silkscreened images are taken in places of strong memory for me such as favourite BC Coastal spots as well as Iceland and Joshua Tree. But they are also intended to relate to our common memories of theses structures and universal existence of the abandoned architecture. Through this imagery I am exploring ideas of nostalgia, untold and imagined stories, memories and memory loss.

Unframed sizes available:

8x8 inches $60

12x12 inches $90

20x20 inches $220

Printed in Vancouver and includes the artist’s signature on the white border.

There is a 1” white border on all prints. So image is 2 inches smaller than the paper size.

All prints are sold unframed and will be shipped rolled (except 8x8 and 8x10 sizes which will be shipped flat).
